HeliGuessr — guess the place from a street photo
HeliGuessr is the guess-the-place mode in Toponauts. You're shown a real street photo — a sidewalk, a small square, a meadow or a shopping street — and the question is simple: where is this? You fly freely across the map in your helicopter, look around, and when you think you know where the photo was taken, you press "Guess here!". The closer your guess is to the real spot, the more points you score.
A game lasts five rounds, and after the final round you see an end screen with your distance score: were you hundreds of kilometres off, or did you land almost on the exact street? You can play across the whole world, across all of the Netherlands, or within one of the 342 Dutch municipalities. The best part is that you can also draw your own area — your own town or village, for example — and then guess street photos from just around your corner.
Hop in the helicopter and find out how well you know the world. You can play HeliGuessr on your own or together with others in rooms of up to fifty players, all at your own pace. It's a fun, free way for kids and grown-ups to learn to read the map while playing.
