v0.1v0.1 — The beginning

This is where it all started. The very first version of Toponauts was a simple topography quiz on a plain map. “Find: Zwolle” — and so on for 22 places. No helicopter, no points, no adventure.

But the idea was there from day one: practising topography on a real map instead of a worksheet. Click where you think a place is, and see right away whether you were right. It worked — it just wasn’t fun enough yet. That came later.
