⛰️ Fly through the mountains of the world
A mountain range isn't one spot on the map — it's a giant wall of peaks stretching for hundreds of kilometres. So in Toponauts, ranges now have a real shape you can fly straight into. 🚁⛰️
🗺️ Ranges across every country
We drew smooth outlines for mountain ranges all over the world. Cross into the Alps or Pyrenees, Germany's Black Forest and Harz, Spain's Sierra Nevada and Cantabrian Mountains, Britain's Pennines, Cairngorms and Snowdonia, Italy's Apennines, or the mighty Appalachians in the USA — and the game knows you're there.
🏔️ Peaks stay as points
Some famous mountains are a single summit, not a whole range — like Ben Nevis in Scotland or El Teide in Spain. Those stay as one spot to aim for, because a peak really is one place. Ranges are areas; summits are points.
💡 Did you know?
- The Alps stretch across eight countries and are still slowly growing taller.
- The Appalachians in North America are among the oldest mountains on Earth — older than the bones of any dinosaur.
- The Pyrenees form a natural wall between France and Spain, with the tiny country of Andorra hidden in the middle.
🚁 How to play
Pick a country and choose its mountains, then fly toward the range. The moment you're inside the outline, you've found it. On easier levels the shape is drawn for you; on harder levels it disappears and you fly on knowledge alone. Onward and upward! ⛰️
