The Learning Ladder: from name to capital
The Learning Ladder world is our smartest way to learn the world. You start easy and climb up automatically โ and that happens per country separately.
- Rung 1 โ Name: "Fly to France", with an arrow to help.
- Rung 2 โ Flag: you only see the flag and find the country yourself.
- Rung 3 โ Hint: only a clue, no more name.
- Rung 4 โ Capital: "The capital is Paris โ fly to the country".
Every time you find a country correctly, Toponauts remembers it. That same country comes back one rung higher next time. That way you automatically link name, flag, capital and location โ exactly what sticks for a topo test โ and everything earns XP.
Why this works: you practise the same country through a different "entry point" each time โ name, the shape/colours of the flag, a hint, the capital. Your brain makes more connections that way, and the exercise adjusts itself to your level: easy where it can be, challenging where it needs to be. Ideal once you know the basics and are ready for the next step.
